The website itself does not include analytics, advertising pixels, account-registration forms, comment forms or newsletter collection. Article search runs in your browser against the included article index. Search terms are not sent by the site’s own code to an external search service.
Cookies and browser storage
The site’s own code does not set cookies or use local storage. The hosting platform may separately process connection information or use authentication cookies, particularly when this edition is access-controlled. Its privacy information applies to that processing.
Hosting and external links
Your browser contacts the hosting provider to retrieve pages and images. The provider may process standard connection data such as an IP address and request information. We do not claim that visiting a hosted website creates no server logs.
Source and credit links take you to other websites. Their data-handling practices apply after you follow those links. Images and styles used by Daily Read are included with the website rather than loaded from third-party image or font servers.
Future changes
If analytics, advertising, subscriptions or other data-collection features are added, this notice should be updated to describe the actual setup before those features are enabled.
